The Firesafe Nozzle is a thermal fuse designed to extinguish an oxygen delivery tube fire and stop the flow of oxygen if the tube is accidentally ignited. The Firesafe Nozzle is used in place of the Nipple Nut-and-Stem “Christmas Tree” Adapter found on most standard stationery oxygen concentrators, flowmeters, cylinders and related products.
